Re: How old when you became a HEAD? |
Thanks bd. That's a very kind offer. I think we're very close to the end here. When it happens, we'll spend a few days wrapping up here as much as we can and then we're getting out of Dodge. We've been here going on 3 weeks. She's giving us her old Honda so it's a two day haul back up I-5 to old Seattle town and a reintroduction to my son who has been enjoying a major dose of freedom. OTOH, due to the ridiculous weather around here lately, I have a sunburn in mid-January. :)

Re: How old when you became a HEAD? |
Hang in there, DH; yes, wife and I did that with my dad/mom, back to back (gosh...ten yrs ago now; 02-03 for the both of them), then w my MIL five yrs back. Crap. Exhausting. But, sometimes an opportunity for family togetherness (strangest of places, looking at it right? I hope that makes sense rather than sounding awk; my siblings and I became closer in any event).

Re: How old when you became a HEAD? |
Thanks Tell. Appreciate your note. Unfortunately, it's just me and my wife. But yes, we've still been able to laugh with her and she's had bunches of friends come by and visit. It's just time. And we're exhausted. For sure Oregon and Washington rules about this type of scenario are more enlightened. Think I'll listen to a 73 Eyes of the World before bed tonight.
